Product/Services Mix

Does your menu mirror your balance sheet? We will look at the service mix that is on the menu, evaluate the product that is carried and make the necessary changes to make the business run efficiently, with as little waste and dead inventory as possible.

A poor service mix can make the guests’ decision to abstain from the spa an easy one. On the other hand, a good mix can lead to guests desiring more services and spending more money than initially anticipated.

The incorrect product choice can have a detrimental effect on the business as well. Initially guests do not decide to visit or not visit the spa based on the product that the spa has chosen. But, we believe it DOES have an impact on the guest returning to that spa.

Factors that have to be looked at in the product choice are:

  • Services/Retail Pricing – Will guests pay this amount? Does it cover costs?
    Can your business be profitable? Will it fit your business?
  • Understand Product/Service Purchase Behaviors – What do your guests/clients want?
  • Products and Services Alignment – Does you service mix match the product and expense carried?
